I honestly don’t believe Target had babywearing moms in mind when they designed this top, but all of the babywearing groups are exploding right now because of it. Well played Target! This long sleeve open back leisure top can be worn for front carries or back and fits perfectly over you and baby.
The top itself is pretty basic from the front.
But once you see the back, you’ll get the idea.
Baby fits perfectly!
If you’re wondering how to wear it doing a front carry, then just tuck the hood. It makes a great drool catcher!
I will tell you, size up. I normally wear a medium and got this in a large. It fits me, the Tula and my 19 month old perfectly.
What do you think of this babywearing top? Will you get it?
Nursing has been quite the experience for me. My son and I had some challenges in the beginning, but we worked through them. He’s a champ. And I pumped religiously for my daughter for 15 months. I no longer pump for her, as my freezer is packed to the max, but my son still nurses, so this is something that I plan on continuing until he quits (or goes off to college- just kidding!). My daughter is special needs, so I feel like I give her most of my time. Nursing is one-on-one time for my son and I and I don’t want to take that away from him.
Anyway, my husband knows how important this journey has been, so when he asked what I wanted for my birthday he didn’t bat an eye when I told him breast milk jewelry from Indigo Willow Breast Milk Jewelry & Keepsakes. This is jewelry that is made with your actual breast milk.
I’m absolutely intrigued by it and it’s one to hold this journey as to close to my heart as possible. I know one day my son will push me away, and when that happens, I’ll always have our memories.
These are just a few of the available pieces:
If you’re interested in some for the holidays, I’d recommend ordering now, as it can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks! The amazing part is, you can get an awesome piece with just 2 tablespoons, or 30 ml of breast milk!
I can’t wait to receive my jewelry!
What do you think of breast milk jewelry? Would you want a piece to commemorate your journey?
I have a confession to make- I am a sucker for any and all things matching my daughter. Seriously. I attended an at home clothing party and bought matching leggings for us even though she can’t wear them until she’s 5. It’s that bad. 🙂 So you know I’m all about this mommy and me event at Eleventh Avenue!
First, something for mommy.
It’s like this shirt knows my life…..
I tell my daughter on a daily basis that she’s my bff. I mean it. I love that little gal.
I mean seriously, how adorable is this matching mommy and me set?!
These leggings are pretty sweet too because they can be pants now for the little one and then transition to capris as they get older. For $7.99, I’m stocking up!
I am in LOVE.
It’s ok to get one of everything, right??
Are you as obsessed with mommy and me stuff as I am? If so, act fast. This event ends tomorrow!
L*Space Sun Seeker One Piece Swimsuit // Twist Front Tankini // Harvest Cut Out Printed Swimsuit // Seafolly Swimsuit
We haven’t had a vacation since the twins have been born, but we plan on going to the beach the week of July 4th. I had a moment of panic the other day realizing that my old swimsuits no longer fit. If you’ve had a baby, you realize things change. They shift. They grow. What once worked, doesn’t always. So I went on a hunt to find swimsuits that wouldn’t make it look like I was hiding my post baby belly, but that would at the same time. Does that make sense? I didn’t want frump, but I’m not totally comfortable running after my one year olds in a bikini either.
Each of the swimsuits, above, are unique in their own way. They highlight and hide the perfect amount. The second one (the tankini) is a nursing swimsuit! It’s in my cart as we speak! I also really like the cutout one, as it will cover my tummy, but flaunt the skinny parts.
Just because you had a baby doesn’t mean you have to hide! 🙂
Have you found the perfect swimsuit for your post baby body? I’d love to hear what you chose!
